From my understand it has not started yet. It's still in alpha, although you can register now for closed beta.

Beta hasn't begun. If everything works out well many are anticipating an early July Beta. Todd Harris has said that everything is on schedule, the only set back was going to E3. E3 should have only set the Dev team back a couple of weeks.
