If you are planning to buy a DIGITAL copy of StarCraft II, you can download the full game client ahead of time, and if you’d like you can even pay it later.

You can download the game right now from battle.net and have it ready for release on July 27th. You won’t be able to play the game until 10pst on the 27th but if you hate boxes this might be just for you. I personally hate digital copies because I never get the feeling that I own it. Plus you never get those “sometimes” useful game manuals.

Personally I will be pre-ordering the game in store in a couple of days and be either at midnight release (if they have one) or just be up at 9am getting the game.
