Not sure why an 84 was given by the one critic review so far with this comment to go with the score:

We can't recommend that you spend $50, and then $12.99 a month after the first 30 days, on a title that has as many flaws as FFXIV does. But we can recommend that you keep an eye on the news to see how this game evolves.

If scoring a game with a solid B doesn't mean you can't recommend the game, I'm thinking that most of your scores are highly inflated.

When I first heard about FFXIV, I was eagerly anticipating the day I could play it. After reading about the game and even playing it during the beta, I no longer even have a slight urge to buy the game.
