If you're already a member of the Cybernetic Punks Hardcore Gaming Community, see us online, or just played on our servers, you know if its full of the best gamers around. But is that enough? You have some choices:


Cybernetic Punks Gaming Division Member

If you want to wear the Cybernetic Punks tag or fly the Cybernetic Punks banner in your game? Join a Cybernetic Punks Gaming Division. We recruit only the best and expect every member to set and maintain a high standard for themselves and the community.

To become a Game Division Member

This is where things get hard.


Summary of the Recruitment Process

1. Fill out an application
2. You are granted/denied Recruit Status
3. Get to know the clan through Ventrilo, the forums, and the game
4. After a two week period the RECRUIT must request, schedule, and complete an interview
5. You are granted/denied membership

Application

A recruit's application must be a very DETAILED overview of the person and his gaming history. Each question must be answered in as much detail as possible, and all questions are to be answered truthfully. Your application determines whether or not you receive recruit status. It is very important because it is your first impression on the clan.

Recruit Status

Recruit status is granted once an application has been reviewed. If the application is detailed and well written the applicant will most likely be granted recruit status. Recruit status will last roughly two weeks. This time should be used to get to know the community and for the community to get to know the recruit. Once it has been two weeks, it is the RECRUIT'S JOB to ask for an interview.

Interview

Once the recruit asks for an interview, one will be scheduled. The interview will consist of a clan officer(s) asking the recruit questions about his application, past gaming experience, and anything the officer(s) deem necessary. Once the interview is completed, a decision will be made whether to grant the recruit membership. You can always stay as a Community Member.

Important Notes

• Recruits are expected to be EXTREMELY active during their recruit period
• Even though recruits wear the CnP tag, they are NOT a member of CnP
• Recruits status can be revoked for any reason at any time regardless of activity. There are NO EXCUSES.
• The recruit period is about taking the initiative to obtain membership. If you don't want to be here, we don't want you here.

REMEMBER, you applied to us, and you are responsible for marketing yourself as a skilled hardcore gamer through gaming with us, talking to us on vent, and posting on the forums.

Membership Expectations

1. Members must continually earn their keep
2. Members must respect each community member
3. Members must maintain maturity
4. Members must maintain a high level of activity
5. Members must be willing to take criticism
6. Members must have a working mic and use Ventrilo regularly
7. Members must maintain and uphold the community's reputation
8. Members must put the community and its members first

Note on #4: During the recruitment process, inactivity without notice for one week will result in a kick. We know people have real life obligations and as long as you tell us we do not mind you taking a leave of absence. Activity includes being in game, in Ventrilo, and checking the forums regularly.

Members are extremely valued people that have earned their place in CnP. Members are elite gamers that have accumulated numerous accomplishments throughout their gaming career. Members are highly dedicated to bettering themselves and the CnP community. Members are encouraged to give feedback to the Core on any and everything concerning the community.

Violation of these expectations, depending upon severity, may result in a warning or kick from the community.

There are 3 categories of games to choose from. Supported, Developing and Legacy.

• Supported Games are actively played and/or have an active player/fan base. They receive full support from Cybernetic Punks staff and are actively recruiting.
• Developing Games are works in progress. Either they are new games or games which the community is watching with intent to play. These games have some support from cybernetic Punks staff, but are not yet fully supported. They are actively recruiting.
• Legacy Games are games we love and play, but are loosely organized, if at all. Just register to the forums and see what we're playing..

Join as a Community Member and talk to your recruiter about starting a CnP Division supporting that game. Become a Game Advocate, make shit happen!
