    Introduce yourself to the community!

Use this thread to tell a little about yourself to all of us here at the Cybernetic Punks community site.

I'll begin: I'm TJourney, and though most people call me either Tom or TJ, I call myself Thomas. I've been a gamer since I was about 2, where I honed my skills on the NES. I still remember playing Galaga, Bubble Bobble, and Super Mario Bros 3 back then.

I've come to the Cybernetic Punks community because this place has the capacity and moxie to become a hub of gamers for Global Agenda and other MMOs. I've been playing online games with my clan of IRONFIST since 2003, and I look forward to working intimately with CP and the other clans that make up the Cybernetic Punks community within Global Agenda.

My current main project is the Elven Agenda webcomic, which is sponsored by IRONFIST Clan, Cybernetic Punks, and Global Agenda Conglomerate. You can usually find me Dual-Venting on the IRONFIST vent and the Cybernetic Punks vent, and I can also be reached by AIM, Live Messenger, Google Talk, XFire, and Steam.

Guess I should chime in here also.

I've played games in general all my life from Commadore 64 since. Not sure why it turned out that way but I never expected to be so involved about it 20+ years later. I recall playing the shareware version of Doom back when it came out and I would have to say that was the first venture into getting my feet wet with FPS games.

Am a huge fan of RTS games i.e. starcraft and all the red alert series games dating back to Westwood studios developing the series.

    errr here I am today!

Well lets see here I'm 23 soon to be 24, I live in the shit state of Alabama. I spend most of my time on da comp. When I'm not on the comp. I'm usually out exploring the country for fencing tournaments. I'm a nationally ranked fencer in the USFA, preferably a Foilest / Saberist. When I'm not doing that I'm finding the biggest mountain to shred, I love snowboarding. I've been down Angel Fire, Taos, and Brian Head. I'm always looking for more danger. When I'm not doing that I'm always looking for big game to hunt, and when I'm not doing that I'm deep sea fishing. When I'm not doing that I'm usually getting blacked out from all the Vodka. My favourite colour is red, I am a Leo, I got a girlfriend, and I love to game. So yeah that pretty much sums me up.

Started playing games when I was four, the game being Ultimate Doom.
Am still and forever will be a Doom/id Software fanboy. Have played all sorts of games in my time, from all of the Command and Conquer games, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Star Wars Tie Fighter, Wing Commander III (Anyone remember that one? ) and play virtually any game nowadays. For some reason with all games that include a sniper rifle I excel in using it, but overall I'm a good balanced player with either running and gunning, sniping, or using cover and tactics, same applies with RTS games, support, offensive, defensive, hell in Company of Hero's I use Scorched Earth Tactics for Panzer Elite and use the Hummels and defense as a powerful offense.

Started on PC games and play little console games. (Yes I own and love both the Naruto games for the 360)

All this and I'm only 20 years old.

(BTW, the Riddick games are probably my favorite games of all time that doesn't have any fanboy to make them so.)

And for a more extensive look on the kinds of games I play you can always just look at my xfire profile, the list is huge but it will give you a general idea of what I play.

Hey, I'm Sean. I'm 19 turning 20 in less than a month. I'm a junior at the University of Maryland and my major is computer science. I've been playing games my whole life, but mostly skill based games. I love all shooter games and the competitive side they bring to gaming.

One thing I'm kinda worried about is right now I have a part time job for the summer and I'm scheduled pretty randomly so I won't always be on GA at a certain time or sometimes I may not be able to play much at all. This is only until the end of August, when college starts back up again. I'm assuming this won't be a huge problem considering the game won't officially be released for a long time, and closed beta will be used primarily for learning the ins and outs of the game. Could someone get back to me on this though? It's my only concern

My name is Zack, I am currently a Software Configuration Management Engineer, which basically means I am responsible for building and deploying software kits.

I have been gaming since I was very young (it all started with Atari fishing). After the natural progression of console gaming (nintendo, snes/sega,
3DO,Dreamcast) I got into my first Online game, TFC. And I've been PC gaming since.

I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I am a HUGE Steelers fan, and I also love the Penguins, and will even cheer for the Pirates even though they ware working on their 17th straight losing season.

Right now I am anxiously waiting on GA, and am currently playing TF2.

Yo all. My name is Linkdead. You all can call me God... I mean, Link. Or Dave. Whatever works. I'm not picky. I've been a gamer for the last...oh...20+ years? Roughly, of course. I'm into all sorts, from platformers to MMO's and RPG's...

    It takes all sorts, right?

I live in the sunny, depressing land called Oregon. Where half the women are mean and the other half hate men. I mean...uh...

Where was I going with that again?

Anyway...I'm an avid gamer, and I enjoy taking on any challengers...and I'm sure I'll be seeing you all in games soon enough.

You live in oregon? Which part? I use to live there. God I miss it so much. Well, I guess I'll thorw in my sh*t too.

My dad first got me into gaming like 12 years ago. I lived in downtown salt lake. It was a really bad, and ratty hood. I mean straight up gunshots outside the windows at night. Hell I remember a dude naked tweaked off meth running and screaming. First thing I ever touched was a nintendo 64.

I played the ocarina of time. After that I was hooked on games, and didn't leave the house much. Because of the area we lived in they were quite happy for that. My first online gameing exp. was Diablo 2, anyone remember the cow level? My father had earned the record for fastest leveling with a necromancer on the west U.S, which first inspired me to try my hardest to be a hard-core gamer and be the best.

Salem. And how can the Land of Mormons be full of shootouts and druggies? That fails to compute.
