    RPGs online ==> Single or multiple players
    MMORPGs ===> Multiple Men Online Role Playing Girls

    The key difference being Massive. From my understanding, online RPGs are usually single player or small co-op teams where someone is hosting it from thier local connection. Massive is normally Thousands of people connecting to a server base. Aproxy could probably explain things better than I could. My only examples I could provide would be a Kongregate Game, Adventure Quest, or RobotWars VS WoW, Everquest, DDO. I apologize for the crappy online examples, I dont play many. I'm more of a MMO type guy cuz I love competition.
