    If they are getting ghosts out that fast you should be getting a free win because they simply won't have the units to kill you. The ghosts also should only have enough energy for 1 EMP each at this point in the game, so spreading your units out a bit will easily nullify the EMPs. Also, most players who go for the early ghost build are going rines + 1 ghost with very few, if any, marauders (and definitely not shells, for 1 ghost, an academy and 1 tech lab he's already at 225 gas). This allows us to build a few more zealots than we normally would and have a few stalkers just to snipe the ghost.

    Later in the game ghosts become a problem because they can emp your army before the engagement, engage stim, and you're dead. No energy for FF, storms, and you can't run because of shells. Plus the vikings will be able to knock out your colossi that much easier, if you were still using them (plus 1 raven for PDD to nullify some stalker damage).

    Of course, the opposite is true too, a few HTs can feedback + blanket storm the Terran army before engaging. I've seen both in pro games.

    That is true. A terran player going fast ghost will have nothing. You got the tech lab, academy, nubus reactor, and the 150 gas just for one ghost.

    Late game just make sure to have one or 2 obs on the outside of your army to spot and ghosts trying to move in to do emp snipes on HTs or sentries. I find it easy to cloak and get into position to emp as i engage. Remeber Theory Crafting is fun but there is so much that goes into a game its hard to just changed one thing to work every game.
