This match is between 2 Pro-Players and shows how powerful Protoss Tier 1 units are.


Here is a pro-match between WhiteRa and Rigid. They are playing as Zerg and Protoss on a small map which means early game aggression is likely.

The Zerg player goes for a fast expansion while building Zerglings to defend himself against a rush. The Protoss does rush with a few Zealots but the Zerg is able to take them while only losing a Queen and a couple Zerglings. WhiteRa continues to send in Zealots to try to take down the expansion and lots of fighting happens. Rigid finally builds a big enough army of Zerglings to end the Protoss push and counter attack against the lightly defended Protoss base. This match shows how powerful Protoss Tier 1 armies are.

Not sure but I thought Rigid could have won with his push against the 3 zealots. At least he could have done some nice damage but he pulled back instead.
