Class recommendation

So I have time now to start playing. Which of the following classes would you guys have more of a need. Just curious if were lacking any class. I know the whole play what you feel like playing is the typical response to a post like this which would lead me to playing the Scoundrel.


Smuggler: Scoundrel (Would play as a medic) #1 Choice

or

Trooper: Vanguard (Tank)

or

Jedi Knight: Guardian (Tank)

Our greatest need right now is either

Scoundrel Heals or DPS

or

Sage Heals or DPS

I would prefer heals over DPS, as this would fill one of our voids for our 16man raid plans

Scoundrel or Sage it is. I enjoy the stealth abilities in this game and being able to stealth/escape in pvp is really nice. IMHO Sage heals are stronger with the shield and all but I would rather play a different type of healer than what was done in WoW.

I have been playing already with a few friends on the Sith side but it doesn't look like they are going anywhere. I have a level 45 Sith Assassin which is fun and I would have no issues playing the republic version shadow but I could use a change. So I will level up a Scoundrel which I will start on tonight.

With a few delays (exploits ftw) in the process I finally figured out what class I plan to play. I'm currently leveling up a Trooper: Commando. I'll either be going the healing route or the dps. I have been playing him as a healer and enjoying the play style in pvp so I will decide at 50 what I plan to do.
