Important & Good To Have Mods!
I wanted to make a post for people to suggest a couple of mods that they personally have found to be awesome. Give the name, possibly a safe download link, and a short description of what function is serves for you.
Those of you who built your own UIs should look into posting it up at the Curse-Gaming Addon Pack Creation . And posting it up here too. Maybe it'll give some of us a good idea or even skip the bs and download your pack.
Deadly Boss Mods - This mod works with you during boss fights to give you a heads up of what is going on. Letting you know when to move out of the fire, stop dps, or anything else you might ever do during a boss. This is a must have for any raider.
Recount - The best damage meters we've got atm. We all know what this does, proves your epeen is bigger than Rukgos.
Atlas Loot Enhanced - This is a ingame database of loot. Need to know what a boss drops? This is how you do it on the fly.
Gearscore - Reference tool for how good you and everyone around you is. Tallys your iLevel so you can tell roughly how geared people are. Currently a must have as any pug group demands you tell them your gearscore.
Bagnon - Useful mod to combine all of your bags into one big window. No more losing your hearth stone or having your dps gear split into two bags.
Omen Threat Meter - Easily tell how your aggro compares to the tanks or other dps during combat. Helpful for knowing if you are about to pull aggro or not. A must have mod.
Quartz - Casting Bar Mod. Lets you setup custom casting bars to change the Blizzard default. Useful for dot-based classes and classes that have to time abilities with auto attacks.
Grid Raid Frames. Great for any member of a raid who wants to see what condition he raid is in, without it taking up a huge amount of space. Healers get tons of use from this as it displays vital info all within a small boxed grid.
Bartender - My bar mod of choice. Allows you to have up to ten custom bars of any size on your screen. Useful for building your own UI or cutting down on the clutter.
Rating Buster - Breaks down the stats on your gear stat by stat. This is the mod I use to tell people EXACTLY how much +Def they are getting from an item's Defense Rating. Highly customizable and doesn't take up that much space at all. Highly suggest this one.
Spam Throttle - Sept just recently found this one. On Mal'Ganis the trade chat blazes during the day and this one limits the amount a person can repeat the same message. Highly suggest this one.

Some others I just thought of..
Satrina Buff Frame - Great mod for your buff bar. Allows the creation and placement of new buffbars that do wonders for monitoring procs. I setup one to only display one of my warriors procs and it puts a huge symbol in the center of my screen. Major dps increase never missing that proc.
Tidy Plates - Changes the Nameplates above targets. Great for tanks or dps who are concerned about aggro. You can set the nameplates so they never overlap, making clicking on certain mobs during an AOE pull easier. Also adjusting the size of the plates in general or having them GROW if you get aggro.

Chilled
Taunt Master - This is a useful addon for tanks that will show you who currently has aggro (puts a blue border around the tanks so easily noticeable if a non-tank has aggro) and lets you bind skills to your mouse that will activate if you click the person's name. Very useful in large AoE pulls to know if someone other than you or the other tank has aggro.

Booster
Skada - This add-on provides a lightweight alternative to Damage Meters and Threat Meters.
Prat - This add-on is a chat tool that lets you customize how WoW displays chat text in game.
TipTac - This is my favorite add-on that replaces the default tool-tip info box.
