    Nostalgia Post

Even though I don't miss WoW to much I do miss the community behind the game. Cant wait for Cat, TOR and GW2 to get a large group of players focusing on a single game again. Ok kinda bored waiting for food to so I made this post on a whim.

Yes I would have to agree, but its bound to have times in between the good games to the bad ones.

I can still remember my first raid boss... I was so proud, I got the final blow on jeklik with a kick while I was interrupting her heal

H8 wow but miss SWG like you miss World of Warcraft... it's the community thing! for sure and there really is a lack of games with staying power right now. I think it's due to the change in the Gamers we have now from dedicated mature players to an everyone can play environment. I blame the PSone and Xbox for making the gaming industry like the music industry! with lots of shiny but shallow releases to cash in on the consumer market.

I genuinely miss the SWG community. From the first day playing, I had random people helping me out daily. After i respec'ed and went polearms (or whatever it was called) I decided to take a desert stroll on tatooine, ended up crossing over some player build CITY, find a few people talking in the center of town, end up talking with them, they are basically the creators of the whole town, and give me a free house to call my own, holding all my npc items and silly stuff that you could collect in game.

I also miss mining in that game terribly. you could go to some random faraway destination on the remotest part of tatooine and set up like 10 extractors. Come back the next day, collect hundreds of ore, and make a killer profit for it on the open market. Rinse and repeat, then move up to building houses and large player structures.

Was a ton of fun, and i miss it a lot.

I've played WoW since 6 months after release of the game, and i miss the guide togetherness you HAD TO HAVE in order to kill raid bosses. I remember my first lava giant sighting and me just being in awe of how big these mobs where, it really did feel epic. ( talking about Molten Core and me walking in the first time)

How dare you be-smirch the x-box? But seriously, single greatest console in history. Anyone else remember opening it up and hitting d0?
