Final Fantasy 13

Just starting up a post about the latest game and the first version for the xbox 360 ! woho thank you for not making it playstation exclusive <3

Anyways I'm about 1 hour into the game and so far all good

I have yet to get into a FF game besides 7 or tatics. Everything after that never appealed to me.

I love the name of the exp points in this system they are called Crystaium points. Aka CP

And so far gameplay is not so very special but I'm liking the story

How about before that? My favorite FF's are and most likely will always be the SNES ones. RPGs aren't made like they used to be made in the golden age of the SNES.

Also pretty happy that you can get 1 and 2 (with PSP graphics) on the iPhone.

So I've now had this game for about 24 hours and I haven't played it none stop as I thought I would

But I've completed the first of 3 dvds so I'll make some small notes for those people who are thinking about buying it.

First of all it is not like the old FF as we already know it is done for a much broader market and because of that it looses alot of feeling.

It is very simple and pretty much just push forward key when not in combat, push A when in combat and relax when there is a movie segment.

The combat is dull and has no tactics in it, all atks can be done by just pressing the auto-combat button and you only atk with the leader the rest just does what you have told them to do before the fight or during the fight if you change their class I gues you could call it, So sometimes you have to change some1 so she/he heals you instead and then go back to mindlessly hit the mobs.

There are no depth in gameplay related stuff (so far) the leveling system is easy and you just pretty much have one path to follow and just level it up. There have so far been no puzzels or riddles or anything up that ally. There have been no mini games either (I love most of the mini games in the other FF and have spent countless of hours with them) The only thing that would have depth would be the leveling system of weapons and armor but so far I have no seen any depth in it because I just press the things I wanna add to it and my weapons gets level ups, but according to the game diffrent materials gives diffrent xp bonuses and maybe something else that I might not know yet lol.

So then I gues we have the whole reason that I really play Final Fantasy games, the story! And what can I say.. It is worth it Sure I am not super excited about what is going to happen next but the cut scenes are amazing and the whole concept is fine+ :P

And also the dubbing is very well made even tho I'd much rather play with the original voices but that is not possible here >.< One exception is the accent of one of the girls.. it sounds like she is tring to cover up a thick australian accent by making it american but fails horribly and some words just are to australian :P


So all in all if you like a long movie with some small action in between or just are a FF fan I'd say this is money well spent
I'll try and add something more when I've completed the game

Money is what made it not a ps3 exclusive, everyone is greedy.

But hey it much much better on the PS3

Why on earth would you wanna buy a console?

Only reason I bought one was because my parts thought that the computer is a evil machine that turns people into zombies, but playing on the xbox all day long was totally fine lol.

1. blue Ray
2. Better graphics
3. Better controller
4. If you have a PS3 why get a xbox360?
