E3 Xbox 360

With the Microsoft Press Conference comes the info on the new Xbox 360 and with its new sleek look comes a list of new tech as well. The 250GB name comes from the 250GB hard drive and to go along with that you get Wi-Fi 802.11n support.

The 250GB sports some new updated connection options. There are now five USB 2.0 ports, with two up front and three in the back. There’s also an AUX port for multiple things like the Xbox 360 Kinect. The HDMI port, optical audio out, and AV connectors are carried over from the older consoles. Finally there’s the Wi-Fi 802.11n. All fit nicely into the new smaller body of the 250GB. The 250GB still has a power brick, but it is smaller and lighter then the old one. They have also gone out of their way to make it much quieter then its predecessor so now you can hear your games over the fan.

Wonder when you’re going to be able to get your grubby hands on this gem? That is the best part, the Xbox 360 250GB is already for sale in the US with a $299 price tag. You can still pick up the older Xbox for now at $199. With the upcoming release of the Microsoft Kinect and a list of games, I see this being one of the hottest sellers this holiday season.
